Douglas County Household Chemical Roundup – In 2008, a total of        Sept. 12
 4,297 Douglas County households participated in the roundup, safely
 disposing of more than 233 tons of hazardous materials.  Paint, motor oil,
 antifreeze, vehicle batteries, house and garden chemicals, fire extinguishers,
 fireworks, ammunition, mercury, propane tanks, tires, etc. will be accepted,
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Town of Castle Rock Utilities, 175 Kellogg.  Participants
 will be asked to give a $20 contribution for the disposal.  A driver’s license,
 water bill, utility bill or phone bill must be presented as proof of residence.
